Blepharitis

Blepharitis refers to inflammation of the eyelids. As a disease of the eyelids, it may result as an extension of skin disease elswhere in the body, e.g seborrhoeic, ulcerative, mycotic. In long-term cases, there is usually variable degrees of permanent damage to the eyelids and associated glands[1].
Blepharitis is common in Persian cats (brachycephalic syndrome), in food allergy dermatitis and with infections by herpes virus, Chlamydia and Ringworm.
